Our compressors are 100% remanufactured to OEM specifications starting in our teardown department where we break the entire unit down to the cast iron body. From there the body goes to the sand blasting machine and is stripped of all old paint and obstructions. Once the body is returned to its original state, we begin the remanufacturing process which is where GFA is unique to the industry.

We remanufacture in a three-man closed group from machine work to motor winding to remanufacturing all the way to a final start up at operating conditions. Every compressor is tested and thoroughly checked by our veterans of 40+ years in the industry before being placed in inventory. We believe at GFA Compressors that quality comes from experience and process; it is more practical for our technicians to understand the entire compressor to better catch any faults during the remanufacturing process.
